U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice has announced that as part of the EU's incentives to get Iran to not enrich uranium, it will allow for the licensing of spare parts for Iranian commercial aircraft. She says that its not a reward, but a good faith effort to work positively with the Iranians.

I wonder if this means that Iran Air has their cheque book out and ready. I know that their spare 737s and 747s have been picked clean to provide for the rest of the airworthy Boeing fleet. I also understand that its been hard for them to get Airbus parts because some of them are manufactured with US components. Anyone have the details?
