When Did CO Start ISP-BOS?

I was looking at the CO timetable and saw a ISP-BOS flight. At first I thought that it was a mistake or a 1 stop thru ALB but it looks like it is a real flight. If this is true, it's nice to see this service back at ISP! AA was on it for a while and WN served ISP-PVD. Hopefully the smaller 1900s will fit the niche perfectly!

There are no BOS-ISP flights on the current CO timetable. There are only CLE-ISP and ALB-ISP routes, with ERJ's being flown to CLE and Beech 1900's flying to ALB.

And just to let you know US currently flies ISP-BOS, but I don't know what aircraft its on. I think it may be on the Beech 1900.

US Airways Express carrier Colgan Air flies ISP-BOS three times daily, once on the Saab 340 and twice on the Beech 1900.

I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.

American Eagle used to fly ISP-BOS (using ERJ 135;s) but they ended that route a few months ago.

The Beech aircraft coming to ISP are coming from ALB, which is a CO mini-hub and uses almost all Beeches. The ERJs at ISP fly to CLE.

ISP is from CLE and yes most likely ALB. Sometimes we do EWR-ISP to keep the gates. I haven't seen that around in atleast a year.

There was a problem with the gates not ebing used last year and from what I heard they needed to fill them. So they started a EWR-ISP flight it was about 5 minutes from take off to touch down and always empty.

They should make a breakeven fare on it, fill the planes up. Sounds like fun to me!
CO connection is CommutAir out of ALB, as has been stated. For O&D I've always found them overpriced ($233 BTV-ALB RT)

ANNOYEDFA, sorry to ask so many questions. But you could actually buy the tickets online? And please tell me if you ever hear of this again...I would gladly take a CO ISP-EWR-ISP flight. (I'm taking the EWR-ISP flight returns back to EWR from ISP?)

So your saying that these flights are temporary. Their purpose is to simply increase the number of departures and arrivals for CO?
Yes. you can book CO conex flights on-line, they happen to be really expensive!
