Wow thats alot of people out of work. Sad, really and more unenployment to be paid out. Or not do you get UE if you get layed off, or only fired?

Who cares about status?

Won't most of these folks just be rehired by ONEX?  Confused

What I heard today was they were getting layed off by Boeing but the majority of them would get the option to work for Onex or go find work elsewhere. I think due to IAM and SPEEA contracts they have to go through the process.

9,300 layoffs one day, 8000 hired back the next day, and so on. You will only read abou the layoffs and not when the people are hired back.
