Unusual occurrence - I drive past the airport every weekday to work and there were 2 x A345's at SYD. Anyone know why? Diversion from MEL?

Yes, its the diverted MEL flight.
MEL was fogged out this morning.
The flight arrived in MEL some 5 hours later and continued normally to CHC.
