Jet Airways plans to fly to Chicago and San Francisco via Paris. Flights from BOM to New York start in two months time. 9W is getting 3 of SA's A340s. They're also looking for buying and leasing either A340s or B777s for operations via Paris by winter.

9W is in talks with CO and UA for a tie-up.

UA is smart if they are going to fly to Washington, Chicago and San Fransisco. Continental if they fly to Newark or Houston.
