Meanwhile lots of passengers complain about conditions onboard Eurolot flights. Especially LH pax. "
As example author sites two flights Warsaw-Berlin operated last Saturday.
"Seats were torn and very uncomfortable. Torn, old carpets, dirty meal tables.... The curtain dividing Business Class from Coach looked more like a torn rug. Passengers with LH tickets shook their heads with disbelief (can't think of right word), as they can get better condition on most LCC's ! Price of a roundtrip ticket Warsaw-Berlin - almost 500 Euro!"
"This issue made LH's Director of Marketing/Sales Thierry Antinori very concern. He has been promoting high quality of LH's services during press conferences lately.

"Eurolot Director of Operations explained that last upgrade to fabric's was made May last year, however materials used turned out to be poor quality, and they will be upgrading all Eurolot's aircraft with leather seat in next 6 months. "
So, what do you think? Repercussions for LOT? Or maybe LH will switch these routes (to LH CRJ's) to preserve its good image? I wish. Ohh, BTW Eurolot operates these flight with AT4's or AT7's. Sorry if I made any translation errors.

ATR 72-200 (8 planes) were purchased by LOT first hand, starting from 1991 and they are indeed crappy, the age showing.
ATR 42-500 (5 planes) are in better shape, most of them 1995-1996, ex Air Littoral with leather seats.
EMB 170 (the fleet is to be increased from 6 to 10 this year) are going to be deployed on some routes between the regional airports in Poland and Lufthansa hubs. The twice daily GDN-FRA service goes from ER4 to E70 starting from the end of March.
