Well it looks like Jet and Sahara is all set to get some spirited competition from good old Indian Airlines for their new services to South East Asia
A check of the Indian Airlines booking engine for the summer schedules shows the following new flights
DEL BKK KUL
IC 853 0435/1005-1125/1430 Daily
KUL BKK DEL
IC 854 1530/1635-1735/2020 Daily
This makes the frequency on DEL -BKK to twice daily with the existing DEL-BKK- SIN flight continuing to operate.
IC 593 0425/1000 Daily
IC 594 1940/2200 Daily
IC 689 1415 1845 Tue/Fri/Sun
IC 690 1120/1300 Tue/Fri/Sun
IC 685 1345/1845 Mon/Thu
IC 686 1120/1315 Mon/Thu
IC 683 1355/1845 Wed/Sat
IC 684 1120/1320 Wed/Sat
The HYD/BLR/MAA flights replace the existing hopping flight twice as week on the HYD-BLR-MAA-BKK route and add more capacity .
In addition the existing fwice daily flights on the MAA - SIN and the daily flights on the MAA - KUL and BLR - SIN routes will continue to operate.
I had travelled three of these routes earlier (MAA SIN, SIN BKK and BKK MAA) and found the service perfectly adequate and defintely worth the price you pay. I had an online transfer at SIN (Flying MAA SIN to connect to BKK on the same day and things went without a hitch).

Quoting Nimish (Reply 2): At least you avoid the midnight madness at DEL, and get to sleep for a couple of hours before hitting the road!
... to sit for at least 7 hrs (to SIN, then layover, then to KUL), calculated without possible delays, in one of these mini A320, with grumpy IC flight attendants around me, with complete lack of privacy ... I-: At least, these old 320 have wonderful pitch, and the 80s sweaty seats are so much more comfortable than the modern so-called aerodymamic or whatsoever seats
