Did MYT operate this service on behalf of MON or have MON bought/leased the aircraft? According to the fairly accurate airfleets.net its still with MYT ( http://airfleets.net/ficheapp/?app=a330&msn=266 ).

Avoid airfleets.net - it's full of mistakes!
Best fleet resources on the net are; Airlinerlist (Free) ATDB (Subscription)
For all UK-registered aircraft enquiries use the CAA G-INFO database. Just type in the registration, airline, aircraft type etc and you should find whatever you're looking for...

Hi,
It certainly is still with MyTravel Airways UK. It will be off to Zurich shortly to be repainted into full livery ready for the Summer. At the moment though, OY-VKG is in for its repaint and maintenance.
It must either be a mistake or the aircraft was operating for MON becuase as you may know MyTravel Airways work closely with Monarch.

Cheers Crosswind, ThomasCook...oh and I guess you too Kirkie. Thats what I thought but just wanted to double check.
I looked at the aircraft used on that flight over the last few weeks and they all seemed to be with MON / NZMC), New Zealand">MON's A332s so I guess ThomasCook is right, its either a mistake or MYT operated this particular service on behalf of MON / NZMC), New Zealand">MON.
I have another quick question. I found this flight and wanted to know whether the Amritsar-Birmingham leg was also operated with a 757? Isn't it quite a stretch?

It was most likely operating a sub-charter, MON at Manchester are currently using a TCX 757 and recently FCA 757's on a Friday for TFS flights, due to aircraft shortages up here at MAN.
Jethros is a very good site for UK and Ireland Fleets by the way

Quoting Gkirk (Reply 2): G-DIMB (a 767-300ER) is transferring from MyTravel to Monarch this year though
That would be a new aircraft for MON as they have not yet operated a 767-300ER (or any 767 for the matter). Apart from their 757s (and previously DC10s), MON operates an Airbus fleet.
Quoting ThomasCook (Reply 3): because as you may know MyTravel Airways work closely with Monarch.
Since when? Monarch Engineering does carry out maintenance on some MYT aircraft but other than that I am not aware of any close associations.

Monarch operate a number of flights for Airtours holidays etc
In fact, I believe Monarch will be operating all Malaga flights from MAN this summer for MyTravel

A lot of MyTravel (the travel company) long haul holiday flights are actually operated by Monarch instead of MyTravel Airways itself.

Whereas tour operators like My Travel, First Choice and Thomas Cook have their own in-house airlines, Monarch is not owned by any tour operator although she is a 'sister' company of Cosmos and Avro. Consequently, many tour operators (including major companies like My Travel) have an allocation of seats on MON charter flights, particularly those operating from airports other than LGW and MAN where it is economic sense to 'consolidate' flights. The fact that MyTravel often use MON for some of their flights does not mean there is a close association between MyTravel Airways and Monarch Airways.

Yep tis true. I flew ZB to LAS in 2000 when we booked with Airtours Holidays.
Also we can't forget ZB have Monarch Scheduled which take up quite a few flights since not all of their aircraft are operating charters like it's rivals. I actually rate the Scheduled arm quite well even though it's the same config aircraft as the charter flights. The service makes it.
