I heard that AF and KLM are setting up the first joint frequent flyer program in history sometime this year.Does anyone know when we can expect it in 2005?

No idea about KL/AF, I would love to know as well, but just a correction on this being the *first* joint FF program. As a matter of fact, Miles&More is the joint program of Lufthansa, Austrian, LOT, Air One and also Luxair.

Quoting FlySSC (Reply 4): The name of this new FFP should be unveiled to the public next week.
With more than 10 millions members, this "new" FFP will be the largest of ALL the European airlines.
How will the accrual of miles work? Is is the same with KLM and AF currently? Will it be the same amount of miles for the tier structure or would we see a change in that?
Also, when are they going to bring the functionality to book reward seats online to worldwide websites (besides the French one)...It's about time!!!
cheers
