Every litle bit helps. But they really need to extend the CTA to GYY. THEN it might be a viable contender as Chicago's 3rd airport.

The South Shore South Bend (SSB) Rail Line from Downtown Chicago already has a station less than a mile from the existing GYY Terminal. The Master Plan shows a future terminal with a SSB station inside of the terminal.

expanding Chicago-Gary and Chicago-O'Hare together is the best plan, IMHO, for improving air gridlock in Chicago. Building a third airport is wasteful and does not resolve any of the existing problems @ O'Hare

They need a high speed monorail (65MPH) from GYY-MDW-ORD and balance the air service across them.

GYY-MDW: 30 minutes

MDW-ORD: 30 Minutes
