Certainly a beautiful livery and doesn't look Indian except for the tricolour.

Don't break your head on this one.

Most of the Indian liveries have a grey or it's close variations on the belly.... and so on ...., but this one simply stands out and has the stlye of a western airline. I can see something missing on most of the Indian liveries but not for this one.

Very nice livery BUT... for some reason the name and the font on the a/c sound/look to me like a beer brand.

I do like the paint-sheme quite a lot - far too many dull and boring planes flying around . The beancounters within the airlines dictate the paint-job these days - rather than the marketing directors...
A nice looking plane is a great publicity for an airline - why do beancounters don't understand this !

Never knew Kingfisher had such a strong brand image. It seems they've almost made it to the category of Nike or McDonalds. Vijaya Mallya will be over the moon.  cloudnine

Santhosh!! how did you manage this photograph. Where was it shot.
cheers!!

Aseem,

I bought it from the LCBO here in Streetsville, Mississauga. The photo was taken by me today (in my apartment) only to reply to the post. I can buy some when you come to YYZ. LOL. It's always available here, but it doesn't come as a case, it comes as single bottles and it is displayed on the LCBO shelf as (England) even though the label shows "India's Premium Lager". I guess it was bottled in England under United Breweries Limited, Bangalore Licence. I am a KF fan.  bigthumbsup

Cheers

The whole plane looks like a bottle of beer. Even the logo. It's kinda amusing, really!

The livery is unique and differant but it's not my favorite. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and call it above average.

Thanks,

Nice livery!

However, this is still not in the A.net database. So is Planepictures.net better than A.net with latest updates now?

Johan should be worried!

It is well known that A.net has the longest screening time due to the ultralong queues. I don't think it is a cause for worry. The same pic. will appear on A.net within a few days if the screeners don't reject it for badmotive because it is named after a beer. LOL.

Of course, the big question is what kind of Kingfisher is it on the tail (or on the bottle)? biggrin  I was in India a week or two ago and decided it is an Alcedo atthis. Any other ideas?!

P.S. Good beer. And it comes in HUGE bottles! bigthumbsup
