A Boeing 707 was lost in Uganda earlier today, fortunately everyone seems to be OK!
Entebbe, Uganda - A cargo plane contracted by Ethiopian Airlines and heading to Togo crash landed on Saturday at Uganda's Entebbe airport and five crew members were injured, airport officials said here.
"The cargo plane overshot the runway, but on the second attempt, it crash-landed," Ugandan airbase commander Major Moses Rwakitarate told reporters.
"The crew members sustained some slight injuries and one of them might have broken his arm," he added.
ETstar, ET does not have any 707 operating at this moment. The only cargo plane they operate on their own is the 757. The plane that just crashed and the DC-8 that still operates for them are wet leased.
