A Boeing 707 was lost in Uganda earlier today, fortunately everyone seems to be OK!

Entebbe, Uganda - A cargo plane contracted by Ethiopian Airlines and heading to Togo crash landed on Saturday at Uganda's Entebbe airport and five crew members were injured, airport officials said here.

"The cargo plane overshot the runway, but on the second attempt, it crash-landed," Ugandan airbase commander Major Moses Rwakitarate told reporters.

"The crew members sustained some slight injuries and one of them might have broken his arm," he added.

The aircraft was on lease from Cargo Plus Aviation (prolly wet lease). Sad to see another 707 written off.

I wonder if ET's own 707 is still at it? Dkny, can you check and let us know whether this beast is still flying for ET?

Here is a statment from ET

ETstar, ET does not have any 707 operating at this moment. The only cargo plane they operate on their own is the 757. The plane that just crashed and the DC-8 that still operates for them are wet leased.
