AA 767-300 To LGA

This morning at about 11:45am, I saw an AA 767-300 on the approach path for LaGuardia Airport, does anybody know why it was going there instead of JFK.

It was a substitution of equipment for a 757 from MIA. The plane, N372AA, will return to MIA today.
