A little while back, an Egypt Air pilot defected after the completion of a routine flight from cairo to Heathrow.

He had indicated that he had information on the Co-pilot of flight 990 that may assist the investigation authorities with the possible causes.

Since then, I have not seen anything that would substantiate his claims and whether he did in fact have any information...

does anyone have details on this matter.
