Well, either today or tomorrow. I was just seeing what's on TV tonight, and according to Yahoo, Airport is on tonight and tomorrow night.
But according to the Radio Times it's on tomorrow night (and Holby City is on tonight).
Either way, they both have the same description of the programme, I don't think I've seen this one before:
Documentary series which goes behind the scenes at Heathrow. It's an early morning start for journalists Steve and Russell who are on the trail of a 1970s superstar who has been banned from entering America and sent back to the UK. At the Animal Reception Centre, Stuart has to perform a mercy dash which leaves him with a dilemma. And in the terminal, the police are called to deal with passengers who have been waiting to fly for ten days.

Quoting Jaspike (Thread starter): the police are called to deal with passengers who have been waiting to fly for ten days.
Sounds like the Ghana Air fiasco, so this must be a new series. Every time it goes I'm sure thats the last of it, but the good old Beeb keep bringing it back

Quoting European (Reply 17): Is this the series that includes Helios???
Quoting Richard28 (Reply 18): No that one is called "airline" and is about easyJet.
Isn't that Stelios, not Helios?
I didn't think the new Airport was too bad. The titles are the start are a bit crap, and some of the sound effects are a bit dodgy, but it was ok. I wonder if we'll see any more of the people from the old series in future episodes.. like Shaker

Oh no they got rid of John Nettles and replaced the commentary with Lisa Tarbuck! Unfortunately the only person we see from the old series is that animal officer, its supposed to be Airport, not Animal Hospital! But was an OK episode I guess.

Ho Hum, I missed it! .... I agree that John Nettles made the original programmes. My personal favourite character on the original series was the Terminal 2 Immigration Officer Eric " I don't believe you " Day. I can't imagine how any visitor who came through LHR T2 ever made it into the country!

Ah flip! Missed it. But if they got rid of Nettles, then it won't be as good. He was very droll.

25 GF-A330: I watched tonights episode. Didn't enjoy it as much as the older ones hence the Qatar Airways bit was pretty interesting. I've noticed they're featuri

27 Planenutz: A few years back the older Airport series were screened here in the USA on Discovery Wings. I thought they were totally cool. Does anybody know if BBC
28 Aireuropeuk733: Yeah - without John Nettles it's just not right!
29 RichM: I watched it, it's a load of rubbish. Airline on ITV1 is better imo.
30 B747-4U3: He was great. I remember in one episode he was searching someone's bag for documents and broke it. I don't like the new voice of airport. It is the m
31 RJ111: That program sucks IMO, it did prompt me to go down LHR for a late spot though, and i saw the QR A330 that was on it.
32 EconoBoy: I think they were scrapping the barrel to show the rescue of a squirrel (which wasn't even on the airport premises). A few more shouty/idiot pax neede
33 LBA: Yet another BBC series which has served it's time. I thought I was watching 'Animal Hospital' for most of it. As they said grey squirrels are vermin -
