Does anyone know when Nation Air will start operations? I saw a picture of one of thei 757s and it looks like a nice livery.

You must b talking about Nationsair. They already operate their old 737-200s in white and blue colors with stars. They have a gate here in Biloxi, MS
and fly to Florida, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and Atlanta I think. I wonder where else they go and if they are a value-priced fare??? Does anyone know?

There seems to be some confusion on which airline we are talking about. National Airlines, which has plans to start ops this month, (or has already started) uses 175 seat B-757-200 aircraft from a hub in Las Vegas to ORD, LAX, JFK, and SFO. There is a pic in the May issue of Airways.

The original Nation Air [red on white fuselage] went belly up approx. 8 years ago and they're not coming back. It was based out of Toronto, and I believe they had 757's, 747-100's, and L1011's. One of their old 747's it on the south sid eof McCarren in Vegas rotting away.

That Nationair was based in Mirabel (YMX) not in Toronto. It went belly up on April 1, 1993.

The Nationair that Quebecair is talking about did not have any L1011s. It flew 747-100s, 747-200s, 757-200s, and DC-8s (61-62-63). Air Transat now flies some of its 757s.

Next flights: YHZ-HOG / HOG-YHZ / YQM-YUL-YQB / YQB-YOW-YUL-YQM / YQM-YYZ-YVR-YYJ / SEA-YYZ-YQM
