Hey all.

Just thought Id share some interesting information today with ya. Maybe its because of Easter Sunday for some of the changes...

British Airways
Instead of the usual noontime Boeing 777-200, today we saw a Boeing 747-400, G-BNLO.

Lufthansa
Instead of sending the usual Boeing 747-400, we saw the Airbus A340-300, which is not completely unusual but didnt quite expect it. Reg for this one is D-AIGW.

Honorable Mention
Alitalia has its usual 767-300ER, today being EL-CRD.
United has a 767-200 out here, N603UA.

Im hoping Swiss sends an A340, but Im not keeping my fingers crossed on that one.  thumbsup

Today is the first day of the summer season, so many changes will take place as they do at this time every year.

Hi AirPortugalA310,

As KZBA noted, today is indeed the first day of the summer season. Actually I tend to think of it as the spring season as some stations have yet another change on the 13th of June, which is really high peak summer season.

LH is back to the A340-300 ... their MUC and 2nd daily FRA should be back soon.

BA has 13 744s and 8 777s scheduled throughout the week, still 3 daily.

VS now sends the 744 (though they can send anything really).

EI goes back to two flights soon.

AZ has the daily MXP and the seasonal FCO started up again. The reggie starts with EI (Irish).

AF goes back up to 14 flights a week, still A330/A340 but switches to 2xA340 on the 13th of June.

LX still daily ... not sure about a mix of A340s

Icelandair still daily to Rekyavik.

Someone can add the us-carrier int'l routes if they would like ...

Bonjour Chef!

Since today starts the "summer season" in BOS, is it still snowing?

A few quick things:

Didnt realize the summer schedule was getting underway! Thanks for that info.

I thought that it was EI, though for some reason in my head it didnt make sense.

And NO!

It is not snowing for the time being...we will be having a storm tomorrow and it will be in the form of rain...there is a god afterall

Not to mention my FL 717 home left yesterday. Big grin Speaking of Alitalia, I saw 2 767s parked at the terminal as well as 3 seperate Air France aircraft, 2 of them I got a shot of as they passed each other on the ramp.

Interesting. I didn't think that AF ever had 3 aircraft on the ground in BOS at the same time? Was there any weather delays or cancellations yesterday?

How frequent does LX bring in the A343?  Cool

Um, you didn't see three separate Air France aircraft ... I know you saw two of them and they did pass each other as the A330 went to takeoff and the A340 taxied in. But trust me, you did not see 3 separate AF planes.  Wink

Well, then the A340 that taxied in must have taxied back the other way about 5 minutes later cuz I saw one go by left to right alone.
