This is my first Civil Aviation Post, so please be kind.

I have been watching the various pundits talking about this will/won't fail and this is/isn't a good idea. Rarely do I see genuine citations backing up one point or another.

I would like to see a good healthy friendly discussion of what we will be flying in 100+ years. Anyone that says they will be flying a 787 or A380 on a scheduled revenue flight is automatically out unless they can prove that those types will be on the production line with buyers in the year 2100.

I want to know why after the success of the B-2 we don't have anyone with the hutspah to make a passenger wing (or more efficient), especially with the oil related economic conditions as they are now, and given the consideration the planet eventually HAS to run out of oil.
