There is a show, Mythbusters, that will be repeated Monday 4/4/05 at 5pm on SBS. On the show they test the myth of rapid decompression from an aircraft with a bullet hole in both the fuselage and window. Not a great amount of real science involved but it is certainly cool to watch.
This was aired in the states last year and there is a thread for it already in the database but thought I would mention it for those Aussies interested.
It is worth a watch just to see what they do with the DC-9.
