With all of the money Air Wisconsin just gave US I was wondering how long would it be till the first A/C (mainly the 900) would be flown by them for US?

The POR has to be approved first and then U actually has to exercise the options as part of the AWAC funding package. It'll be a little while yet till you see the CR9s in U colors flown by AWAC or any of the other surviving feeders (WO or not).

It is AWAC who decides whether or not AWAC flies for US Airways as I understand it.

Anyway, there is indeed talk of CRJ-900s, at least internally. Nevertheless, this company is famous for keeping secrets so internal rumors really mean nothing.

I will believe it when I see it. But I would not say it won't happen with the same certainty that some others here seem to think.

AWAC will come out of this turbulent period a winner. I am sure of that.

What are the chance of seeing the new C-Series in US paint, it would fill the gap left behind by the 737 being parked. I would think that the promise or even idea alone would be enough for AWAC to fork over that muck money. Just an idea.

As far the C-Series goes...anything is possible, but U seems pretty commited to have the Embraer product as the go between the mainline fleet and the 50-seaters.
