Any New Upstart Airlines In The Making?

Are there any upstart airlines in the works? If so what A/C are they using to fly where, and where will they be based out of. Just wondering. Mike

Good lord, they are everywhere. I did a thread on this a few weeks ago about a start-up at CMH trying to get off the ground. The article mentioned some others as well.

Well unbeknownst to the local IAH spotting community until today, IAH was added to the route map of a new West African carrier this April Fools day. http://houston.bizjournals.com/houston/stories/2005/03/28/daily57.html . Now I am normally suspicious by nature, especially new carriers (in particular upstart int'l carriers) but 'HAS', has confirmed this service. As this flight is not showing up on flytecom, we suspect that Amiyi is using wet lease metal. Their web page shows a WA MD11, so are assuming that it is a World MD11.
