I was at Chang-kei Shek airport last saturday afternoon and I saw 4 Air Macau Airbuses sitting at gates. It looked like 3 A319 and 1 A320. Why are there so many at one time in Taipei?

Thanks
Ryan

Air Macau's main business is operating from Taiwan to China, to take advantage of the fact that the two governments do not allow scheduled direct flights across the straits.

You may wonder why send several small planes when you can send one big one? The reason for this is that many of the passengers stay on board the same aircraft, which arrives in Macau, and then departs under a different flight number, thus allowing the passengers as direct a flight as the current political situation will allow.
