I plan to get Wi Fi coverage on my PDA soon. If I somehow wind up without it, I'll get a used laptop online and install Wi Fi. DFW appears to have some Wi Fi capability. That's one hurdle covered. What about:
Holland:
AMS
Switzerland:
ZRH
Germany:
FRA
Great Britain:
LHR
STN
The US:
MIA
SFO
ORD
DIA
Also: Does anyone know what version of 802.11 those airports use? Are they using A, B, D, E, G or I and do they use firewalls? Will any of these be public access or will they make you pay a user's fee to connect?

They'll generally make u pay for it unless your in a first class lounge. When i was in DTW last month i had to pay 6,99 for a full day of access. Another airport which has WiFi capability was Frankfurt but again you had to pay a certain number of Euros. Most major airports have WiFi or are going to have it soon.
