I'm reading about the recent orders that B is picking up such as Air India and KAL and NW and even though I'm happy for Boeing to get a good start on the life of a new product which I can't wait to fly, I wonder if Airbus is just being patient and waiting for the Paris air show to announce any kind of support(orders) for their A350 product. We all know A380 is a huge project and big accomplishment but I'm sure they are aware of the 787 orders coming in recently and how those orders could have been A350 orders. Anyone expecting a big orders announcement from Airbus(specifically for A350) at the Paris air show, or is the A350 is really having a slow start.

I'm betting on the Paris Air Show for Airbus to make "dramatic" announcements.

Watch what happens at Paris. They are planning on this being a big show for them, and I think that they will announce some A-350 order of some kind; although from whom I have no idea at this point. They may also announce an A-380 order of some kind as well.

Airbus has traditionally made order announcements at the airshow, it is their style; Boeing announces based on customer desires.

They traditionally wait for the shows but I doubt that they will announce significant A350 orders. It seems like all the likely candidates chose 787 lately. It'll be interesting to see.
