How many people will actually give this creep LeBlanc more business? In my opinion he ranks up there with Dave Fink, Carl Icahn, Frank Lorenzo, and Steven Wolf as CEO's who have destroyed airlines and shouldn't be running airlines again.

This is all tied into Transport Canada whom submitted a motion with the bankruptcy court to revoke the airlines air operator's certificate.
The airline had failed a February inspection and had originally until today to comply with safety rules and update its required manuals and procedures.
However with the airline not operating Transport Canada seems to have taken the view that it must surrender its certificate and restart the certification process from new if the airline ever plans to fly. The bankruptcy and shutdown has caused Transport Canada to be unable to provide oversight of the carrier in its progress to meet the changes required from the February inspection.

It's too bad that someone who has, in the past, run a credible and successful business couldn't get together some cash and buy up the Jetsgo planes before LeBlanc gets back in the air.
The whole idea of Jetsgo was low-fare prices for the thrift airline seeker. This OBVIOUSLY had an impact on both AC and Westjet, which promotes some good hearty competition.
The negative aspect was HOW they did it, and how far they drove the prices down to an unrealistic #.
It's too bad we all couldn't throw our own money in. We've seen enough airlines succeed and fail, I'm sure *we* could run a pretty good airline.
NOW, back to the original question -- Will people actually fly? of course they will.
There are people out there who are thrifty people. They will do *whatever* they can in order to get something for cheap. It's unfortunate that those people also don't realize that sometimes when you pay cheap, you get cheap and or cheated.
