I recently went a local bookstore [Borders]. There was a magazine called Airliner World. It is from the UK. Anyway, I bought the first issue (March 2000) and found that there was an article that was to be continued in the April 2000 issue. So I went back to buy it, as the magazine said that it would be on sale on March 8. Unfortunately, it was not there. The clerk said that the mag. was accidentally shipped there and was not regularly stocked. I would like to know where I can buy this. I live and South Bend, Indiana, and any info is appreciated. Thank you. (BTW, the mag. has a subscription coupon, but it expired  )

Odd, the Borders near me regularly stocks it along with Flight International, and some others. It is the same publisher as Air International

Try www.airlinerworld.com, that is their website, and you can get back issues there.

Hope it helps!

That's weird...I would have expected all of the Borders to have the same stock (we have it at ours). I'd say your best bet would be either Barnes & Noble or click here to subscribe online.

We have it at our Border's in New Orleans, I've also seen it, in fact, at a Books-A-Million in, of all places, the airliner mecca of Monroe, Louisiana.

It seems to me that Border's usually gets the issue in the middle of the month (eg. March came in about March 15th). Of course, by then in the UK, they're already looking at the April issue.

P.S. An "Airliners" magazine question: I was just out of town, and lost track of issue dates. Is the May/June issue out yet?

Both Borders and Barnes and Noble here in Tampa regularly carry Airliners World and Airways.

I have to issues of Airliners World, one is the most recent MD-11 cover, and one had a special BA calender.

Just to say that if you order online, it'll probably get to your door faster than the newsagent's.

It's a great read, I especially enjoy the Flightdeck articles, we've had a Royal Brunei 767 Brunei-UAE flight, and they are now reporting from the flightdeck of an Emirates A330 flight to Gatwick.

Cheers,
Tailscraper.

P.S. The latest has a great article on GF.

Yeah. The "To be continued....." flight on an A330 from Dubai Sharjah to London Gatwick is what I wanted. Thank you for all of your help.

Just to inform you that Dubai and Sharjah are two separate cities, with their own international airports; enjoy the reading!
