Is this seasonal or year-round? How big would the J-cabin market be?
It appears TAP does not fly this route, so an unexploited market all for AC to take.

It is a low yielding market. That is why SATA flies it.

Just curious about these "tons of rumours". I haven't heard anything at work, and we don't have any spare acft to start any new routes at the moment, let alone a daily YYZ-LIS service that would likely be low yield. There are a few other routes that would be more likely if we had the acft to operate them.

It would sincerely doubt that we will be flying to LIS. It has always been a very low yield route for both AC and CP before it. It seems to work better for charter airlines with lower costs and higher cabin densities.
But, just to play devils advocate, I checked online in the charting/tech ops section of AC, to see if Portugal charts/maps are scheduled. That, I find is always the best way to predict. For example, we were issued Guyana charts about a month before anything was "announced" by marketing. And no, not LIS charts.
Sorry, doesn't look like you see AC in LIS any time soon.
