I red today that Malaysia Airlines will discontinue flights from Kuala Lumpur to Vienna at the end of March. If this is true please tell me whether they stop flights from Kuala Lumpur to Munich and Zagreb, too. (this 2 flights are via Vienna)

Where did you read this? According to OAG - MAS will continue to route MOST European routes via VIE.

MAS and Lauda have together successfully built the KUL-VIE airbridge over the last few years - so I don't think they would be so quick to drop VIE completely. Besides MAS just restarted their Zagreb route not too long ago.

MAS may redirect some flights away from VIE in favour of ROM in the future - as MAS comes closer to joining 'Wings' with Alitalia, Northwest and KLM - but that may only happen in March 2001.

I think that would be a mistake - as according to MAS' Summer timetable - Vienna still very much features in their network.

The following routes will be operated over this Summer period, all using the Boeing 777-2H6ER:

KUL-VIE-MUC x2 week
KUL-VIE-ZAG x2 week

Lauda Air will operate the other 4 weekly services VIE-KUL-SYD/MEL also using the 777-200ER.

I just went to http://www.jetstream.ch and there it says nothing about Malaysia pulling the KUL-MUC route.

Thanks

I also did read that MH was withdrawing from Vienna many many months ago.
But when i checked on the schedules, both Lauda and MH had flights. Perhaps they will no longer codeshare the route, as Lauda is now a part of the Star Alliance, and MH is soon to be a part of Wings.
