Any thoughts about choosing a flight from New York to Paris? American Airlines is out of the picture since they go to Orly so it is basically a choice between Delta, Air France, TWA, or Continental. Any thoughts?

Hi MEB :

I would choose DELTA for it flies with either 767-300ER or 777 on this route and you will definirely find yourself comfortable on the 9 hour flight ...

Bon vacance a Paris ...

Andy

Hmmm...this one's a toughie. I would say either Continental or TWA. However, if you included American, they are a perfect flying option.

TWA, Because like the commercial says "We want to be NEW YORKS Airline." It also does'nt hurt that the "Trade & Industry Gazette" of the UK rates them as second best as far as comfort is concerned in the world!
(Air Canada was first)

Go air france. forget about the 777s to paris - go concorde!

So if you don't want to spend that much money, i would go air france anyway, because AF is a Europian Airline and has much more style and prestiege than an American carrier. But if you really want to fly on an American Carrier - NYC is right, pick TWA. They've had a hard time lately and they are trying hard to win back customers - i think they derserve our support hear.

So my choice - well, AF first preference.
Second - TWA. IF twa is cheaper TWA then becomes first prefence.
You should be able to get onboard these two, but if you can't, go Lufthansa or British Airways via London or Frankfurt. But i sounds like you want direct to Challes De Gulle, so i think i would basically spin a coin and decided between AF or TWA

Speaking as a business traveller, you can't go wrong with the European airlines my friend. I have done NYC to Paris a couple of times, once on Continental on a plane older than me! The second on TWA, that plane was older than me too. But if that was a big deal I wouldn't love airplanes so much. If your looking for comfort, Air France all the way.

Hello !

I advise you to fly with AF, they have a very good service : champagne, lounges in NYC and Paris, pretty hostess :-)), confortable seats, and new planes (B777 and B747 and naturaly Concorde to NYC).

I always fly Air France.

Moreover they aren't especially expensive.

Don't hesitate to contact me for further informations.

Best regards,

Alain

If price is also your concern keep an eye out because TWA has terriffic deals every week tuesday-friday on their website, go to TWA.com and click on hot deals then click on "This weeks' Trans World Specials"

I would pick AF. They have great service and aircraft. Depending on your flight time you will be in either a 747 or 777!

If you are willing to pay the big bucks, take the Air France Concorde, if not, go for Delta on theyre new 777s if youre lucky.
