The Angolan airline operates a fleet of 747 for long haul flights Europe and JNB. After the accident of D2-TEB in CDG few weeks ago, a new 747 was added to the Fleet D2-TEC but one of my friends who work for the airline told me the 747 fleet will be replace by 777s but nothing is sure.

need some info please.

Thankx. DID747  Wink  airplane

Incorrect, TAAG uses the B747 to Europe, JNB and GIG.

D2-TEB had a minor mishap at CDG last year. Nothing serious.
The 747-300 are young enough to serve at least another 5 years. Not need to haste and try to grab expensive 777s.

AFAIK, the aircraft will not be written off.
Moreover, I really wonder how TAAG could afford T7s. The airline is in financial trouble. What about the seized 743 at JNB ?
