White CRJ Question

Posted (13 years 1 month 3 weeks 3 days 13 hours ago) and read 724 times:

yesterday while at PHX, I saw a CRJ that was all white, with no colors what so ever. It was parked at an America West Express gate, and was opperating for Mesa Airlines. My question is, why was it all white? could it be brand new and no time to paint it yet?

Actually, the aircraft I believe you are refering to (N27191) was delivered in late '97. The airline has painted it all white for operational flexibility. As such, it can fly in either the US Airways or the America West system.

Hey, you saw the same plane I did on the same day. Yesterday while at COS I saw that white AW express CRJ.
