Pan-Am Clipper Connection In TPA Now?

Huh?! Why is this showing on my flight tracker? I thought Pan-Am was out of business - AGAIN.
Are they still flying?

I dunno if they started service to TPA but they are back in business. They are operating out of SFB. They had a jet at MCO a couple weeks back. It could be charters.

Saw one of there 727-200's at IAD a couple of weeks ago. Most likely doing a charter flight out of there, so they are definately still in business.

Also, just the other day I noticed a curbside sign for "Pan-Am Clipper Connection" right out side of FLL's terminal Four. So the fact that Boston and Maine acquiring the assets of Pan-Am from Guilford Transportation can answer the question of the Clipper Connection part of their name now.

I previously thought that the Clipper Connection was Boston and Maine's feeder service using Jetstream 31's up in the Northeast. But after reviewing their website just a few moments ago I can see what the case of the Clipper Connection, which is now being reffered to Pan-Am's so called mainline flights.

Also upon reviewing Pan-Am's website, I noticed that their only route from FLL, is up to Portsmouth New Hamphire.

They are currently still operating charters with the 727s. Scheduled service on the 727-200s restart Memorial Day weekend (May 28) with one of the old Pan Am III routes SFB-SJU. Looks like PSM-FLL and PSM-SFB will start in late June (Jun 25) and BDL-FLL will start in late November. But with Fink and group, who knows?
