First Ex-BA 767 Delivery To Qantas

Just confirmed is the delivery date of the first (as far as I know) ex-British Airways B767-336(ER) to Qantas.

The delivery flight of G-BNWG/VH-ZXA will depart from London-Heathrow on the 1st May, routing via Bangkok before arriving in Sydney (the next day?) A slot is held for an 0905 departure as QF6016.

Just thought I'd let you know - this is the first I'd heard of a definite delivery date.

Just walked to work at the BA maintence base at LHR and seen one of these 767s (not sure on registrtaion).

Seen the new QANTAS tail stuck out of TBD for the last couple of days, I guess it has just been repainted?

Looks quite out of place in the pouring rain and wind!!
