SAS 737/MD-80 Configurations?

When I look at the 737 and MD-80 fleet lists of SAS at sasflightops.com, I notice that each aircraft in current service with SAS is noted as being configured either DOM (domestic) or EURO.

What is the difference between the two configurations?

Also, since some aircraft noted as DOM can be seen in photos at various European airports outside of Scandinavia, and aircraft noted as EURO can be seen at airports such as Lulea, Malmo and Tromso, which have domestic service only from SAS, are DOM and EURO configured aircraft typically used interchangeably?

The domestic configured aircraft have more seats than the European ones.
Some of the European ones are used on charter flights and sometimes on scheduled European flights.
