Did this really exist, part 3: Island Air (code YN) is in the 3/76 OAG flying a DC-3 from Baltimore to PHL to JFK to Long Island Farmingdale. Davies' commuter-airline list says the airline started and expired in 1976.

It probably did,it was probably just hard to make a go with a DC-3 and pax. I used to take a DC-3C freighter into JFK on occasion in the 90's,when it was still possible to make a decent buck with the old girl and have a great time doing it!
