Now that is a really sad news. Emirates has announced the opening of Geneva route starting December 1st 2005.....well due to the fact the airline has a lack of aircraft or has to reassign them to other routes. I have the impression this is a joke!

However, will they end up opening that route once they have "enough" aircraft? Hope so, I'd love to see EK's A330's in GVA

What is the Geneva route? Sound like it is named after a destination it passes over?

If the route was important enough, an aircraft would be dedicated to it.

As it is, like any other airline, the best earning routes will get the equipment first.
