Yes, it was installed on the BA flight I took last week to EZE. However, I was on Club for that flight. I think they have 9 channels, no games though.
The Club World PTV had 9 channels, it's not bad, but not up there with SQ and EK who offer games (although I don't play Mario), and 18 TV channels and 18 CD-quality radio channels on EK. Plus EK offer Biz pax. 50 videos, inserted into a slot in the armrest.
Our BA to EZE was in fact in British Asia Airways livery, "City of St.Davids".

Tailscraper, are you confusing the World Traveller you saw with 'New World Traveller' - the 777 I was on recently had 12 channels in economy and 18 channels in biz - no games however.
EK only have bizclass video cassettes in the A330, right? Same as GF I believe.

Hi 777, nice to speak to you again.
Well as far as I'm aware, it was only the "New" WT, which had the PTV's didn't it? The 9 channels were what was available on-board BA2267, although the IFE on Spanish Latin American routes is tailored so that we get our own specific channels (i.e. BBC World in Spanish, and a few Spanish News Networks and Movies.
I mentioned the games in relation to SQ, not BA or EK. Didn't know GF supplied videos cassettes in Biz, their fiercely competing with EK, that's obvious. Now that I remember, we did fly them once. It was a 763 from NBO (Nairobi) to Muscat, changed at Muscat, hopped on another 763 to CMB (Colombo), they've got that "Wings of Gold" mag, they're all as bad as each other to be honest.
The Airliners.Net community are all anxiously awaiting your return trip report-it's a special thrill to the Yanks who'll never get a chance to fly around Arabia
Anyway I'm off to JNB next week, then on from there to DXB, then on to RUH to see my Uncle-the Saudis are making it nice and difficult for me to get in, my Uncle has had to get me a "Business Visa"; is it me or are they dic*heads to all foreigners? The High Commission in Buenos Aires even examined my passport to ensure it had no Israeli stamps in it. I mean, why are they so damned unsociable?
