What Engines Was The TWA A332 Going To Have?

I was wondering if there is any information out on what the proposed
Trans World A330-200 order was gonna include for poweplants? was it PW,
RR, or GE?

The order was for the A330-300, as the A330-200 was not yet available. I seem to recall that the engine choice was Rolls-Royce, but I am not certain.

That's what I have read, too. An older JP Airlines Fleet cites them as A330-341's.

The A333's were supposed to be RR powered, from what I remember from convos Ive had when I was at TWA.

You'll find it was 1987(!!!), I'm pretty sure. RR? Yes - remember that TWA was a launch customer and satisfied operator of the L-1011 TriStar with RB211s. The A330s (and yes, -300s) were intended, at least in part, to replace the TriStars. It was quite a coup for RR back then as they had no engine flying on any Airbus and had just started picking up orders for the A330.
