Don't know if anyones posted this yet, and I know its not that interesting as accoring to the article its normal but I thaught I'd put it on anyway!
It just basically says that it was on approach to heathow when it happened, it landed normally and when it was suggested to the PM that it could have been a missile he didn't even bat an eyelid!

Ha, you obviously don't live in London LOL There's been thunderstorms all afternoon. Im not surprised his plane got hit by lightning. There were probably others that got hit as well.

London is sunny now. But between about 4 or 5pm there was several thunderstorms in london! With VERY heavy rain.
I would know. I got my car washed earlier today, when it was sunny! Not impressed!
In my eyes the Boeing 747 will ALWAYS be the queen of the skies!

Wow,
It was really sunny here too, we had all our thunderstorms yesterday.. I'm sure Mr Blair is a well seasoned flyer and is used to this sort of thing, unlike some of the journalists joining him on the flight..!

I just learned something valuable reading this thread. And that is, the politics on the other side of the pond are a lot more vituperative than they are over here. Makes me feel better and less inclined to mouth off when I see a political jab -- from either side -- next time.
But, hey, back on the topic at hand: what kind of a/c was the PM flying in when he got whacked by the lightening?
