Don't know if anyones posted this yet, and I know its not that interesting as accoring to the article its normal but I thaught I'd put it on anyway!

It just basically says that it was on approach to heathow when it happened, it landed normally and when it was suggested to the PM that it could have been a missile he didn't even bat an eyelid!

Today's weather in England seems to be very sunny, so I'm amazed if there's any thunderstorms around today in London!

Was this one of the BA 772's?

Rob!

Well before u say that. Go to Paris and punish Mr Chirac first...

There is one problem with airbus. Though their products are engineering marvels they lack passion, completely.

Chirac is clearly not an angel but he is nowhere near having as much blood on his hands.

God that rain was crazy! We got that down here in Kent as well...

Was watching on BBC news that ole Tony had trouble signing the side of the plane with a marker pen, because it was so wet!

Wow,

It was really sunny here too, we had all our thunderstorms yesterday.. I'm sure Mr Blair is a well seasoned flyer and is used to this sort of thing, unlike some of the journalists joining him on the flight..!

Seems funny to me that Satan would torture one of his own.

Especially when he is doing such a good job of torturing the rest of us.

But then this is a strange and funny world.

However I still believe that George Bush is really Gonzo the Muppet in disguise.

Not that I’m bitter and twisted in any way..

I just learned something valuable reading this thread. And that is, the politics on the other side of the pond are a lot more vituperative than they are over here. Makes me feel better and less inclined to mouth off when I see a political jab -- from either side -- next time.

But, hey, back on the topic at hand: what kind of a/c was the PM flying in when he got whacked by the lightening?
