As Elal106 already mentioned, it's the same thing as LH's flights from DUS and MUC on BBJ/ACJ aircraft, operated by Privatair - LX replaced their EWR flights with this service a while ago (not sure exactly when, I last flew them from EWR in November 2004, and that was on an A330).

By the way - Zurich is not ZUR - it's ZRH.

This is a telling situation where a flagship route; ZRH-NYC, is reduced to 1 widebody to JFK, and essentially a bizjet to EWR.

What happended to the Y-class traffic on SR/LX?

Owner is incorrect - it's owned by PrivatAir and operated on behalf of Swiss International. Radio Call Sign is SWISS, not Swissair! What kind of source is that???
