Icelandair owns an entire fleet of 767s. Up until now, they have been on lease to charter operators. With the opening of service to SFO, Icelandair has brought back either one or two aircraft and will paint them in Icelandair colors for the first time.

The FI 763ERs are operated by Loftlidir Icelandic, Ice Air's charter arm, hence it is possible they are not listed on the site for that reason. Anyway, they will be replaced in a few years by FI's 787s

Quoting Drerx7 (Reply 5): So the 767s have been painted already and are flying to BOS?
Well one of them was sitting at MAN 2 days ago in full Loftleidir Icelandic c/s. It's a real shame that bmi could not lease one of these for the MAN-IAD service instead of TF-FII, an FI 752. The on-board product could be better presented on a 763.
The Icelandair 757-200 will be replacing the A330-200 on bmi's MAN-IAD route next week.
