I noticed that Continental flies a 757-200 from CLE to LGW, I did not realize that the 757-200 had a 3760 nm range. I also heard that Continental is going to fly the 757 from EWR to PRG pending the addition of winglets. Do winglets really improve the flight performance that much to fly a modified seating configuration on a 757-200 4100 miles?

Yes, the winglets are projected to help that much. PRG is only a rumor; for now expect them to be on OSL, ARN, TXL, HAM, and LIM.

As a matter of fact, the service resumes again today, May 2. Departure time is 1930, and N19117 is scheduled to run it.
