Are There Any News On The DBA 737-300 Replacement

Anything new about the replacement of the "classic" 737 with DBA. Last year they announced that they want to buy either 737-700s or A320 family aircraft.
But since then I heart nothing about it, so I wanted to know if they are still planing on replacing the old 737s with something new or will they still buy every 737-300 and -500 available on the market ?


It will forever be a McDonnell Douglas MD 80 , Boeing MD 80 sounds so wrong

Did not Germania has some 737NGs aswell. Maybe they will take some of them in a near future and will slowly start replacing the older classics with NGs.

They did not have them, they have 'em. But they are in operations with hlx and GOL (any others?).
