Air Arabia will launch new services from Sharjah to Luxor with 2 flights a week on Thursdays and Sundays and to Sharm El Sheikh with 2 flights a week on Thursdays and Sundays. SSH and LXR will be G9's third and fourth Egyptian destinations after Assiut (ATZ) and Alexandria (HBE). The latter is the airlines most profitable route and recieves 2x daily flights (highest frequency of any G9 destination).

The airline will also start a nonstop service from Sharjah to Kabul (Afghanistan) with 2 flights a week operated on Mondays and Fridays.

All flights will operate with Airbus A320s.

Fly707, indeed they do. I should've wrote 'another' Gulf carrier.

Here was my prediction:

I would love to see EK and QR at SSH in the future!

For some reason I doubt EK will serve SSH, well at least not in the foreseeable future. We are more likely to see QR, G9 and maybe GF lauch flights there first.

Now we only need QR...lol
