Finally, Direct Flights To Taiwan?

China is lifting ban on citizens going to Taiwan... does this mean the opening of direct, year round, multiple airline service between the island and the mainland?


And what are the consequences to the likes of Air Macau, who take advantage of the lack of service between these territories (or is this long gone history?)
