Can anyone tell me what airports have "real" onsite dining restaurants, with waiters, cloth napkins, etc? Please don't mention the Chili's restaraunts found in the us.

On my one and only stop over in ORD, we had lunch at this great place in terminal 3. I believe it was called "Chicago Bar & Grille"
The food was great and we got to sit right at the window and watch all the American Eagle Ops. Since it was a Friday afternoon, we had plenty to watch. We had a two hour wait for our flight, so it made it enjoyable to be able to relax and have a bite to eat while watching all the action.

My glass is neither 1/2 empty nor 1/2 full, rather, the glass itself is twice as big as it should be.

There is one in PVD airport (I don't remember the name), but it is BEFORE you go through security. It looks out over the gates and the tarmac. I had a caeser salad and bowl of New England clam chowder - quite good!

There is a very pricey bistro at PHL concourse C (B?) where the food looks delicious. It is very much sit down, and comes complete with flowers on the table, etc.
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

Lots of airports have "fine dining" with waiters and cloth napkins.
In Boston it's Legal Seafoods Restaurant, Legal Seafoods Café, Legal Seafoods Test Kitchen, Bella Boston, Fox Sports Skybox and Grille, Houlihan's Restaurant, Jasper White's Summer Shack, Sam Adams Brewhouse and Pub, and Ozone-Bos.
Restaurants are located both before and after security, so their are options for both those boarding flights and for those waiting for passengers to arrive.
