BRO And HRL To Allegiant: What About Us?

Allegiant's announcement of McAllen-LAS seems to have brought out the South Texas airport rivalries.

Both HRL and BRO seem to be wondering why McAllen got selected over their airports. HRL did submit a proposal to Allegiant but G4 selected McAllen as a better fit.

Now BRO wants into the picture. Brownsville will be submitting a proposal to Allegiant suggesting the airline operate from both McAllen and Brownsville.

Overall this article was an interesting read showing how competitive airline recruiting is today.
