HP would of course be running the new company. They gain more planes and more routes and a bigger east coast presence.

They also gain a company with big debts, a lot of unhappy staff, a lot of customer who have seen a lot of ups and down as well.

A lot of the aircraft such as the B737's and B757's are not exactly new and the LCC's are pretty active as well.
