Are you planning on going to school for an aviation degree...Well if that is the case ER sucks...j/k of course you hear that from me. I am going to Purdue for an aviation administration degree. And from what I have seen and experience compaired to other colleges it is the best. Purdue that is

Yeah, like airlineguy said, Purdue is a great school. I am planning to go there (and hopefully I will get in) for college, even though I'm only in 8th grade. But hey, it's great to plan ahead right. (Hey Neil, tell him how good Purdue is! )

Sorry that part didn't really answer your question. Embry Riddle is Ok. I have no idea what Brasair is.

Go to ERAU!

Of course, I'm biased since I'm an Alumni (class of '97). I both attended school there and worked for 3 years as a flight instructor and I can honestly say, with all the objectivity I can muster, I have never seen such professionals who work so earnestly for individual students. On that basis alone Riddle should be your first choice.

The pluses? A solid academic platform and an effective flight trianing program in outstanding equipment. Industry relations no other school can match. But I think the people are the best part. The flight training staff and professors are tops.

The minuses? Its not cheap. Its darn hard work and sometimes a little frustrating. You will be challenged like you won't believe.

In deference to my collegues from Perdue... Perdue isn't a bad school at all. North Dakota University is even better. They just havn't done it yet on the level ERAU does it and thats a fact.

Whatever you decide, best of luck and see you on the flight deck!

All of these choices are good beacuse they will get you to your dream of working in the airlines or whatever you have in mind. Next year I am attending UND (university of North Dakota) to become (hopefully) an airline pilot. I have had friends that I know go through the program and they all loved it and it helped them achieve their goals. When I went to visit the campus last year, ERAU was my #1 choice, followed by Purdue, but after I saw the facilities and school, I knew UND was the place for me. The facilties are brand new, state of the art faciities that put ERAU to shame. I also liked it because it was a nice sized school(about 11,000 students). It had a small school feeling, yet it was a bigger school. My friends got hired immediatly out of school by Horizon airlines and are serving as first officers and working their way up the ranks. I hope this has given you some insight on this hard decision, if you would like to contact me and or have anyother questions my e-mail is crcooledge@home.com

Listen, Airlineguy, if you are majoring in Aviation admin. then I am sure Purdue is a good school, although I have never visited there. But if you are looking at it from a flight training perspective, nobody in the US, or even in the world have the program of Embry Riddle. I just wanna know Airlineguy, have you visited Prescott and seen the campus? Listen, Purdue University is not a complete aviation University. But Embry Riddle is so if you want the best education and great flight time, go to Embry Riddle.

Just a note: Purdue now has two campus. Main campus in West Layfatte IN and another located at the Indianapolis Internatioal Airport. I go to the one in Indy. The plus side is classes are small 8-15 people at the most. We have highly regard instructors. Most of which come from the Airport (Manage by BAA), FAA (FISDO across the street) and managers in airliners such as ATA, United both have huge hubs here. Class are all eve class so its great to work during the day. I travel to many school checking into there programs and I found this one to be the best. We have great internships and all of my friends have been hired as soon as they have walked out the door with there degree or before. If you want any additional info email me at planenutz2@aol.com
