I am trying to gather some information to possibly start a dream of mine. I have an unusall idea for an airline that I think would be fun to start and see if it would go. I need to gather some information about 727 in general. How much fuel they burn per hour etc...Also does anyone now of any place I could obtain information on getting custom interiors done. Also does anyone know the dimieson of the cabin area of a 727.

Thanks,
Blue skies and smooth landings to you.

I cannot help you with that. BUT I can help you with your airline in general. I have been researching how to open an airline seriously since I was 10.

A followup to my last post. I am pretty sure the B727 200 has 1066.5 square feet of floorspace EXCLUDING the cargo holds.

I checked my books agaon! Here is teh correct data:

Each aircraft is as individual as the person who owns it. The main deck of the interior is basically 11’ wide by 110’ long or 1,210 sq. ft. This does not include the cargo area nor storage area mentioned below.
Below the main deck are two cargo compartments, one forward and one rear. The space is accessible through the external cargo doors or access can be made through the main cabin floor.
